The First Leg: Provo to the Ferry
Once you have collected your luggage at PLS, your island hop begins. You will need to take a taxi from the airport to Heaving Down Rock Marina in Walkin Marina, Leeward. This is where the TCI Ferry departs for North Caicos. The taxi ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. We recommend having cash handy for the taxi fare.
The Scenic Crossing
The Caribbean Cruisin’ ferry ride is a delightful 30-minute journey across stunning turquoise waters. It’s a wonderful opportunity to breathe in the sea air and watch the beautiful islets pass by. The ferry runs several times a day on a reliable schedule, making connections easy. Relax and enjoy the view as you get closer to your premier North Turks and Caicos resort experience.
Arriving in North Caicos
You will arrive at either Sandy Point Marina or Bellefield Landing on North Caicos. Upon docking, you will immediately notice the quieter, slower pace of life here. Because North Caicos is larger and more spread out than Provo, renting a car is essential for exploring the island and reaching our property comfortably. Several rental agencies meet the ferry arrivals.
The Final Drive to Paradise
The drive to Ocean Breeze Resort is spectacular. You will travel along quiet roads lined with lush vegetation, perhaps spotting flamingoes in the ponds along the way. It is a peaceful introduction to the “Garden Island.” In just a short drive from the ferry landing, you will arrive at our doors, ready to settle into the finest North Turks and Caicos lodging available.
